So much has happened over the last year it is crazy! I don't even know where to begin or what to include or exclude from this post. The messiness started last summer when my hormones and chemistries went off and we did not figure it out in time to save me from being admitted to a psych ward for 10 days......but that visit did come with benefits. I was completely detoxed from whatever toxins were flooding my system and we eventually found the off the chart, hormone and thyroid levels and were able to adjust them and bring me back to life so to speak. I feel more normal than I have in years. I am still far from 100%, maybe at 50%, but I a WAY better than I was! I was even able to get off IV atbx for alms 6 months before some disturbing lyme symptoms returned. After further testing my thyroid is off again, my HHV-6 is back active, I still have strep, and  I am back on IV atbx due to the heart and degenerating lower vertebrae that started...
BUT, I am no longer bedridden and I am now livin life with my 7 year old daughter in MT.
I am still not strong enough to work, but hopefully soon....I am back in school online for a health coaching certification and will likely have a focus on helping Lyme patients find a better overall health picture. I have learned the hard way how suppressed trauma can directly effect physical health. This coaching involves way more than just nutrition and exercise advice, but incorporates relationships and spirituality as well. I am very excited about it as it utilizes most of my training through my health promotion degree too.
So for today I am again trying to count my blessings and keep on keeping on....
